Hugh McCartney
Chief Executive Officer
Hugh McCartney is a seasoned executive with nearly 30 years experience in the computer software industry. Formerly an independent director of Cloudmark's board, Hugh joined Cloudmark as Chief Executive Officer in 2005 to drive Cloudmark's global expansion and leadership in messaging infrastructure security solutions.
Before joining Cloudmark, Hugh served as chairman of KVault Software Limited (KVS), a leader in email archiving. As non-executive Chairman of KVS plc, he was responsible for facilitating the acquisition of KVS plc by Veritas in 2004, for US $225 million. Prior to KVS, Hugh served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Services at enterprise software company Merant, based in San Francisco. Before his tenure at Merant, Hugh held several senior Sales and General Management positions in Europe with database vendors Sybase Inc. and Ingres Inc. and application software company MSA Inc.
Hugh has also served as chairman of UK-based Scapa Technologies, an innovator in security testing solutions; as executive and chairman of Neverfail, a global provider of fail-safe technologies; and as chairman of Centennial Software, a developer of network discovery tools. In addition, Hugh has held board positions within several European software companies, both venture funded and publicly traded. Hugh has also lobbied on Capitol Hill for the fight against messaging abuse. He remains an active voice and presenter at some of the industry's largest fixed line and wireless events.

Jamie de Guerre
Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Jamie de Guerre is responsible for Cloudmark's technical strategy and roadmap and oversees Cloudmark's Technology Services, Sales Engineering and Service Provider Support teams. Through Jamie's leadership a strong relationship and collaboration is ensured between Cloudmark customers and internal solutions development.
Since joining Cloudmark in 2003, Jamie has played a central role in shaping Cloudmark's products and technologies. Starting as a core member of the design team writing the first design specifications for Cloudmark Server Edition and Cloudmark Authority, Jamie was also instrumental in dramatically growing Cloudmark's Global Threat Network. Jamie helped drive the development of the Cloudmark Network Feedback System enabling automatic incorporation of feedback from all subscribers within a service provider's network. Prior to Cloudmark, Jamie was with Microsoft working on the .NET Compact Framework, where he first began working with service providers.
Jamie has spoken at numerous industry events and panels in the areas of email security, mobile technologies and future security threat vectors related to emerging messaging mediums.

Jacinta Tobin
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Business Development
Jacinta Tobin brings over 18 years of global business development, channels, sales management and marketing experience in high technology, with particular emphasis on the financial services and Telco sectors. As head of Worldwide Sales and Business Development, Jacinta oversees Cloudmark's team of field sales and business development around the globe.
Prior to Cloudmark, Jacinta was Vice President of Business Development at Communigate Systems, a pioneer in secure messaging, where she drove key strategic partnerships and led direct sales into Service Providers. Jacinta served as Senior Executive, Channels for a division of the Mysis Group, one of the largest providers of technology to the financial services sector where she grew distribution channels and sales into 64 countries. Before Mysis, Jacinta was head of Market Development in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific for the data warehousing division of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young where she spearheaded global distribution deals and direct sales. Jacinta also served as Principal of Business Development for Prospect Management Consulting, working on deals such as CitiBank, Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan Chase.
Jacinta founded Quantum Internet, an application hosting provider and has acted as advisor to numerous entities focused on security and anti-spam, the Australian government on financial services investments into Australia and the IDA on exports of software from Europe into APAC.

Leon Rishniw
Senior Vice President, Engineering
Leon Rishniw is a seasoned engineering executive who has spent more than 15 years building and managing software development, operations, information technology and engineering support services organizations in high technology companies. At Cloudmark, Leon holds responsibility for the Product Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Support and Operations teams.
Leon's career has spanned the entire spectrum of the engineering development life-cycle, both internationally and domestically, and across multiple industries including messaging systems, digital media systems, medical imaging and avionics. Prior to joining Cloudmark, Leon was Director of Engineering with Sony Corporation where he managed international development efforts between media and hardware companies within Sony. Prior to Sony, Leon served as Vice President of Engineering at Liquid Audio, a digital music services company where he managed the development of software products and services.
Leon holds five patents in security and digital media processing with the US patent office.

Olivier Lemarié
Vice President, Gateway Technology
Olivier "Mario" Lemarié brings to Cloudmark, over 16 years of executive management and network infrastructure development experience to his role as Vice President of Gateway Technology. Mario joined Cloudmark as part of the acquisition of Bizanga, Ltd., the leading message processing platform, where he was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer.
As Chief Technology Officer for Bizanga, Mario was responsible for the development and direction of Bizanga's Intelligent Message Processor (IMP) platform which provided scalable and full-featured email message processing and security for some of the largest messaging operators in the world. Prior to founding Bizanga, Mario was co-founder of Internet-Way, one of France's first and most successful internet service providers, and played a prominent role in the design and deployment of the technical infrastructure and in the development of value-added services. Internet-Way was subsequently acquired by UUNET, where Mario served as Chief Technologist for UUNET Europe, Middle East, and Asia and was tasked with defining UUNET Europe's technological direction.
Always looking for better ways to exploit technologies, Mario founded Overnetworks in 2000 to develop a new scalable technology to intelligently route data on the Internet. Earlier in his career, Mario consulted to several start-up organizations helping them define their business models and technological direction.

Alan Ranger
Vice President, Mobile Marketing
Alan Ranger has over 21 years experience in both large, multi-national and start up software businesses. As Vice President of Mobile Marketing, Alan is responsible for leading the proposition development and go-to market strategy of Cloudmark's global mobile business.
Prior to joining Cloudmark, Alan was CEO of Phonesync, a UK start up offering over-the-air synchronization solutions to mobile network operators. During his tenure at Phonesync, Alan co-founded and became COO of Mobyko, a company that used the Phonesync technology to allow mobile subscribers to synchronize the content on their phones with their favorite social networks and online data stores. Alan has held prominent roles in the European sales, marketing and business development divisions at companies including Oracle, Sybase, BMC Software, BroadVision and Nuance.
Alan is based in the Cloudmark London office and represents the company at numerous mobile industry events and business briefings around the world.

Judy Fujii-Hwang
Vice President, Corporate Marketing
Judy Fujii-Hwang has over 18 years experience in domestic and international high tech marketing with special emphasis in helping emerging and developed organizations launch new products, enter new markets and build market leadership. As Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Judy is responsible for executing on worldwide public relations and outbound marketing strategies.
Prior to joining Cloudmark, Judy was Director of Marketing for QLogic Corporation, a leading supplier of high performance network infrastructure solutions. Before QLogic, Judy served as consulting Vice President, Marketing at virtualization start-up 3Leaf Systems. Before that, Judy held senior management positions at NeoPath Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems) and PortAuthority Technologies (acquired by Websense), where she oversaw analyst and media relations and developed and executed the outbound corporate marketing strategies both domestically and internationally.
Prior to that, Judy was Senior Director, Corporate Marketing at FaceTime Communications, a leading provider of security solutions for spyware and instant messaging applications. Earlier in her career, Judy was with Resonate, an innovative leader in traffic management solutions, where she helped launch the company in 1996 and participated in the company's initial public offering in 2001.
